Flute and Piano Lessons with Gaby
Hi, I’m Dr. Gabriela “Gaby” Alvarado Pasko, a Venezuelan flutist, educator, and arts professional based in the Boston area. I teach flute and piano students of many ages, from young beginners to adult learners returning to music after time away.
My lessons are structured, encouraging, and centered on each student’s goals. I help students build strong fundamentals while developing confidence, curiosity, and healthy practice habits.

Flute and piano lessons in the convenience of your own home!
Students work on note reading, rhythm, technique, musical expression, practice skills, and confidence. Lessons move at a pace that supports steady growth without pressure to be perfect.
Remote lessons can work well for flute, piano, practice support, music theory, audition preparation, and adult learners returning to music.
For virtual lessons, students need a reliable internet connection, a quiet space, and access to their instrument.
Music should not come at the cost of your well-being. I work with musicians who want a healthier relationship with practice, performance, and their instrument.
My work focuses on smarter practice, sustainable habits, body awareness, confidence, and finding the joy in playing again.
I want students to leave lessons with more than notes and rhythms. I want them to build confidence, curiosity, and a sense of ownership over their music.
My work as a performer has led me to explore repertoire beyond the standard canon, including works by women composers who have often been overlooked. That same curiosity shows up in my teaching. Students build strong fundamentals while learning to ask questions, make choices, and find joy in the music they play.
